eLearningCommunity.com (or eLC for short) is a FREE E-Learning Knowledge Marketplace for you to learn from/host contents online. You can register as a Knowledge Provider if you are interested in publishing contents in elearning Community for others to join and learn. Just imagine, you have an academic course content, or a fancy recipe you like to share, or even some DIY course that you always wanted all done in our elearning system!
If you are interested in learning, you can do so by registering as a Knowledge Seeker and start enrolling yourself to the courses of your choice. There are even free courses here too!
All registration of account is FREE be it Knowledge Provider or Knowledge Seeker.
What contents should I put on eLearning Community as Knowledge Provider?
Just like blogging, you can post html like contents, insert images, embed videos and file attachments. Other than that, you could also create quizzes and assignment for evaluation. You could also imposed a fee to your course and make your own income $$$$(Ka Ching!) using our built-in e-commerce feature.
The eLearning System provides various features to help facilitate an eLearning Classroom, online chat, online conferencing meeting, forums and private messaging are some of the examples. If you are not sure where to begin, you could always start by registering yourself as a Knowledge Seeker and take a look at some of the free courses.
Is there any cost involved in using some of these services?
No, in Elearning Community services are FREE from point of registration to usage of the eLearning system. However, if the Knowledge Provider imposed a course fee collection, eLC will only take 10% of each transaction made from Knowledge Seeker to Knowledge Provider when they subscribe for their course as Transaction Processing Fee. If your course is set as a FREE course then, no charges will be imposed.
There will be extra chargeable services which may come later such as Online Conferencing top-up points (currently offering as free service in beta but, you have to request for it though). Rest assured, there’s nothing to lose actually except your time and effort spend in content creation.
In short, eLearning Community 2.0 provides a convenient and hassle free learning environment for knowledge providers to deliver knowledge to knowledge seekers in a secured and authenticated online platform.
